St George's Concert Hall, Bristol
We have been working with St George’s Bristol on a series of interventions within the Grade II* Listed concert hall to provide enhanced artist’s facilities and the discrete integration of visual media equipment within the Hall itself and are now involved in the design of a temporary exhibition pavilion. The design uses a shipping container perched prominently over the entrance steps and, decorated with imagery derived from high resolution digital scans of naturally occurring materials the ‘Container of Curiosities’ will serve as a base for local school children to learn about natural world and create their own artworks using digital media. The pavilion will form part of Bristol’s Green Capital initiative.
